Founder and Managing Director
For over two decades, Ben has built a reputation as a creative
problem solver and honest broker. Before founding Bershad Valuation
Consulting, he rose from analyst to managing director and shareholder
at one of the country's largest and most prestigious valuation firms.
He has testified dozens of times in trials, arbitrations, and
depositions across multiple jurisdictions.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Ross
School of Business at the University of Michigan, graduating with
High Distinction. He is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the
AICPA and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) through NACVA. In 2008,
Ben was selected from hundreds of candidates as the recipient of
NACVA's Jeffrey R. Salins Report Writing Award.
Ben is a contributing editor for Business Valuation (Law
Journal Press), a regular seminar presenter to attorneys, judges,
accountants, and fellow valuation experts, and a guest lecturer at
the University of Michigan and Michigan State University.
Ben leads a small, experienced team, keeping every engagement
personally hands-on while drawing on added capacity for larger and
time-sensitive matters.
